How much does a UK Minister of State get when resigning?

Under the Ministerial and other Pensions and Salaries Act 1991, MPs leaving office are entitled to a quarter of their annual ministerial salary in severance. Michelle Donelan was promoted to Education Secretary by Boris Johnson, but resigned 36 hours later. She will receive almost £17,000 in severance, but has stated that she will be donating the money to Charity. The total charge to the taxpayer for all those resignations in protest against Boris Johnson, will be around £420,000. Nice work if you can get it.
