Remainers appear to be enraged by the thought that the USA is going to privatise the NHS as part of a trade deal with the UK.

I am sure that the US wants its companies to have the right to bid for NHS contracts not to actually privatise the NHS.

But that would be the same as privatisation, wouldn’t it?

If you think that private companies bidding for NHS contracts is privatisation, then, it’s already happened because EU law demands that EU companies be allowed to bid for Public Procurement Contracts. The NHS contracts are “public procurement” and so EU companies are able to bid for the work.

It isn’t privatisation and any UK political party running on a manifesto to privatise the NHS wouldn’t get within a million miles of Government.

Just a lot more propaganda (information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or point of view).
